Four scoreless innings by the bullpen and a 3-for-3 night by leadoff hitter Anthony Jackson propelled the Lookouts to a 5-3 win over visiting Montgomery on Monday night at AT&T Field.

Chattanooga starter Chris Withrow (1-1) allowed three runs on five hits and six walks over five innings, but earned the win thanks to the relief efforts of Blake Johnson, Javier Solano and Shawn Tolleson, who earned his fifth save.

The Biscuits stranded 12 runners over the course of the night.

Leading 4-3 midway through the fifth inning, the Lookouts picked up an insurance run when J.T. Wise drove in Jackson on a sacrifice fly. The run scored was the third of the night by Jackson.

Jake Lemmerman started the scoring for the Lookouts with a two-run home run in the first inning.

The Lookouts (14-18) and Biscuits (14-18) will continue their five-game series on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
