SEC coaches gave the nod to Tennessee forwards Jeronne Maymon and Jarnell Stokes in the league's postseason awards announced Tuesday.

Maymon earned All-SEC second-team honors after leading the Vols in scoring (14.2 ppg), rebounding (7.9 rpg), field-goal percentage (.573) and steals (1.2 spg). The junior notched a team-high eight double-doubles this season, and led the Vols in scoring seven times and rebounding 14 times.

Maymon averaged just 2.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 9.1 minutes off the bench as a sophomore last season.

Stokes, who enrolled at Tennessee after graduating early from high school in January and gaining his collegiate eligibility, exploded onto the SEC scene and landed on the coaches' All-Freshman team.

After joining the Vols at midseason, Stokes appeared in 14 games for the Vols and shot 54.1 percent from the field and averaged 8.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game.

Coaches voted on eight member teams for first-team All-SEC, second-team All-SEC and the SEC All-Freshman Team. They voted on a five-player squad for the SEC All-Defensive Team. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own players, and ties were not broken.
