Jack White kicks off solo tour at Track 29

Founder and former lead singer of the White Stripes, Jack White, will perform in Chattanooga at Track 29 on March 10, the first of many solo dates on the singer's upcoming tour.

Tickets to the all ages show are $33 plus fees and go on sale Friday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. via the venue's website.

White's upcoming CD, "Blunderbuss," is set for release in April, according to Rolling Stone. The CD, produced by White, will be his first solo effort since the White Stripes broke up.

White announced the Chattanooga show as one of "his first ever headline shows" via his website on Monday.

The online premiere of his new self-directed video, "Love Interruption," debuts Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
