Tennessee completed an offseason overhaul of its coaching staff Friday as Derrick Ansley was named cornerbacks coach. Vos head coach Derek Dooley added Ansley via Central Florida, where he was hired as defensive backs coach just two months ago.

Before leaving for Central Florida, Ansley spent two seasons as an assistant in the secondary at Alabama from 2010-11.

"Derrick is a bright young coach with an incredibly high ceiling in this profession," said Dooley in a Tennessee press release. "He worked with Sal Sunseri for two seasons and will be able to bring some systematic continuity to the defensive staff."

Sunseri joined Dooley's staff on Jan. 13 as defensive coordinator following a three-year stint at Alabama.

Ansley coached defensive backs for five seasons at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala., after graduating from Troy University in 2005. He started 40 consecutive games for the Trojans during his collegiate playing career.
