Townsend Atelier is offering Introduction to Figure Drawing classes, which will begin Feb. 1 and run until March 7. The six-week course will meet every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
Students will work from a live unclothed model, which will help students obtain the basic skill of drawing the human form, including proportion, observation and fundamental exercises in gesture, contour, outline and tonal modeling. Click here to register.
This class is intended for those who want an introduction to drawing figures or who want to brush up on their skills. The model fee is included in the cost of the class.
Students under 18 years of age need to have parental permission.
