Business Bits: Yoga certification, affordable dental program

— Chattanooga's ClearSpring yoga studio will begin a teacher certification training program on March 9. For those who already have the 200-hour certification, there is a 500-hour, more in-depth Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training program. 

—  Local dentist Dr. Angela Lunn is bringing a new program to Chattanooga being rolled out nationwide that helps families afford dental care. 

—  For the 10th consecutive year, the Avon Foundation Breast Health Outreach Program awarded Memorial Health Care System Foundation $55,000 to support the 2012 Breast Services outreach program at the MaryEllen Locher Breast Center at Memorial. 

The funding will provide for 1,5000 mammograms, 1,000 clinical breast exams and educational services to more than 3,000 people.

— The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga, in partnership with Re:Start, will host a TABE testing session on Tuesday, Dec. 20. The sessions are open to anyone interested and positions are still available for the December session. TABE tests are taken before the GED exam in order to determine if a student is ready to test for their GED.
